W. Evan Plauché
Mr. Plauché is a Managing Partner of the firm and has practiced as a trial attorney handling litigation since 1991. Mr. Plauché practiced as a mechanical engineer, marine engineer, and project engineer from 1979 to 1988 in the offshore oil and gas industry. Mr. Plauché's law practice includes various areas of litigation, with a primary focus on matters involving technical subject matter where Mr. Plauché’s engineering background and technical experience provides significant insight. He handles complex litigation, including construction, product liability, casualty, environmental and toxic tort litigation. He also handles intellectual property, transportation, maritime and oilfield-related defense matters. Mr. Plauché has been involved in various high profile defense litigation cases and was selected for inclusion in the 2007, 2011, 2012 and 2013 Louisiana Super Lawyers as designated by the trade journals Law and Politics, Louisiana Life Magazine and St. Charles Avenue.

Mr. Plauché is admitted to practice in all Louisiana and Mississippi state and federal courts. He is a member of the Louisiana State Bar Association, New Orleans Bar Association, Mississippi State Bar Association, the American Bar Association, and Federal Bar Association. Mr. Plauché is also a member of the Defense Research Institute, the Louisiana Association of Defense Counsel, the Trucking Industry Defense Association, the Association for Transportation Law, Logistics and Policy, the Federation of Insurance and Corporate Counsel, and the Council on Ethical Billing.
