Michael J. Vondenstein
Mr. Vondenstein is a Managing Partner in the Metairie office. He served as Law Clerk for United States District Judge A.J. McNamara, Eastern District of Louisiana, from 1982-83. He has since been engaged in private practice with an emphasis on general casualty litigation, construction defects, products liability, medical malpractice, professional liability, insurance agents' and brokers' errors & omissions, admiralty/maritime law, contractual indemnity and insurance coverage (including Commercial General Liability, Commercial Property, Workers' Compensation/Employers' Liability, Protection & Indemnity, Claims-Made Errors & Omissions, and Excess/Umbrella) in Louisiana state and federal district courts and courts of appeal. Mr. Vondenstein is admitted to practice in all Louisiana state and federal courts. He is a member of the Louisiana State Bar Association, American Bar Association, and Federal Bar Association. Mr. Vondenstein is also a member of the Defense Research Institute, Louisiana Association of Defense Counsel, Maritime Law Association of the United States, Southeastern Admiralty Law Institute, and he attended the International Association of Defense Counsel Trial Academy in 1984.
