Guy J. Bercegeay
Mr. Bercegeay is an associate in the Metairie Office, and has been with the firm since 2017. His practice focuses on civil litigation, premises liability, insurance coverage and bad faith claims, and general insurance defense, as well as complex matters involving products liability, construction and casualty litigation. A native of Louisiana, Mr. Bercegeay was born in New Orleans and attended Jesuit High School. Mr. Bercegeay graduated from Louisiana State University in 2014, and earned his Juris Doctor from Loyola University New Orleans College of Law in 2017. During law school, Mr. Bercegeay served as a Managing Editor for the Loyola Law Review and as Coach of the Moot Court Program's National Criminal Procedure Team. Prior to joining Hailey McNamara, Mr. Bercegeay worked as a clerk for several New Orleans law firms specializing in complex civil litigation.
Admissions and Affiliations
Mr. Bercegeay was admitted to the Louisiana Bar in 2017 and is admitted to practice before all Louisiana state and federal courts, including the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit. He is a member of the Louisiana State Bar Association, the American Bar Association and the Federal Bar Association.
