David C. Bach
Mr. Bach is of counsel and started with the firm in 2006. His practice consists primarily of general casualty and corporate litigation, particularly in regard to environmental, health & safety issues, including asbestos litigation. Mr. Bach has extensive experience as in-house counsel for a major chemical manufacturer, a major OTC pharmaceutical and cosmetic company, and a state environmental agency. In the environmental health and safety area, he has practiced as regulatory and litigation counsel for all environmental media (air, water, solid & hazardous waste, TSCA and FIFRA) and OSHA He has served as litigation counsel in employment matters, including EEOC and ERISA. Mr. Bach has also handled general corporate matters, such as licensing. He defends litigation involving asbestos, ethylene dichloride, formaldehyde and train derailments.
Admissions and Affiliations
Mr. Bach was admitted to practice to the Iowa Bar in 1975 and the Louisiana Bar in 2003. He is admitted to practice in all Louisiana state and federal courts, all Iowa state courts and the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit. He is a member of the Louisiana State Bar Association, the Baton Rouge Bar Association, the Iowa State Bar Association and the Defense Research Institute.
